# UAP Response Monitor - 2026-05-26

Purpose: keep agency-response monitoring separate from interpretation and prevent the team from inventing work while real response blockers exist.

Mailbox/source scope: Gmail-scoped agency response monitoring plus the retrieved USCENTCOM DOD SAFE interim letter. Private requester details, Gmail message IDs, thread URLs, DOD SAFE pickup credentials, and personal contact fields are deliberately excluded.

## Current Lanes

| Lane | Status | Last event | Next trigger | True blocker |
| --- | --- | --- | --- | --- |
| DVIDS/DWIA | acknowledged-awaiting-response | DVIDS/DMA replied on 2026-05-13 with URL derivation guidance and said metadata-match questions require submitter verification; submitter-routing reply sent the same day. DVIDS support then stated on 2026-05-14 that the request is being routed to the appropriate personnel and may take a few days. | Submitter response, referral, ticket number, correction route, narrower-packet request, records-control guidance, or documented aging trigger. | DVIDS submitter/originating-owner response, referral, or aging threshold. |
| USCENTCOM FOIA | acknowledged-awaiting-response | USCENTCOM FOIA interim letter for case #26-0189 delivered by DOD SAFE on 2026-05-15; letter acknowledges receipt on 2026-05-11 and states the request is #1462 in the USCENTCOM queue. | Substantive processing update, referral, fee decision, no-records response, released records, narrower-scope request, or documented follow-up threshold. | USCENTCOM substantive FOIA processing response. |
| NARA reference mapping | acknowledged-awaiting-response | NARA acknowledged the reference inquiry on 2026-05-11 and said it would route to the appropriate office. | Reference response, referral, records pointer, or no-records/no-holdings guidance. | NARA routed response. |
| NASA HQ FOIA | partial-public-pointer-response | NASA HQ FOIA responded on 2026-05-19 to request 26-00815-F-HQ. NASA cited public Gemini/Apollo transcript and image resources as potentially responsive to items 1-4 and stated it will conduct a search for item 5 concerning Skylab. | Skylab item 5 search result, fee assessment or decision, no-records response, released records, referral, or record-level public-source mapping result after local review. | NASA Skylab item 5 search plus record-level source-lineage review of the public pointers. |
| State FOIA | sent-awaiting-response | State FOIA request sent on 2026-05-11. | Receipt, tracking number, referral, fee decision, no-records response, or records. | State response. |

## Mailbox Findings

- **DVIDS/DWIA**: Gmail thread contains the DVIDS/DMA reply, the sent submitter-routing response, and the 2026-05-14 support update that routing is in progress; no submitter/originating-owner answer, correction route, or records-control guidance has been received yet.
- **USCENTCOM FOIA**: DOD SAFE drop-off was retrieved and the PDF checksum matched the sender-provided SHA-256. The letter is an interim acknowledgement only; it does not release records, issue a referral, decide fees, make a no-records determination, confirm custody, or validate any UAP claim.
- **NARA reference mapping**: Gmail sprint scan found NARA acknowledgement; no substantive mapping response was found in the scoped search.
- **NASA HQ FOIA**: Gmail thread contains the NASA acknowledgement/hold, the sent clarification response, and the 2026-05-19 partial public-pointer response. Items 1-4 are source leads only; item 5 remains search-pending. No records-production closure, no-records determination, referral, or UAP interpretation validation has been received.
- **State FOIA**: Gmail sprint scan found sent mail only; no State receipt, tracking, referral, no-records response, or records response was found in the scoped search.

## Operating Rule

Follow-up is authorized only when a lane receives a response/referral, asks for clarification, reaches a documented aging threshold, or produces a new evidence trigger. Otherwise the correct action is monitoring, not parallel pressure.
